Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
The Inn & Club at Harbour Town
Lowcountry Legend
What it is
A 60-room hotel with all the trappings of a Southern mega resort, including doting service and activities galore (golf, tennis, yacht rentals—you name it).
What it isn't
Just a hotel. If you feel like upgrading to a home or villa, they’ve got some 400 to choose from.
What we think
If other resorts on Hilton Head are jealous of The Inn & Club at Harbour Town, we wouldn’t be surprised. It’s often touted as the number 1 place to lay your head in the region. And no wonder: guests are treated to beach concierge service, butlers, shoe-shines and pants-pressing (why not??), and 24-hour room service—because you never know when you’re going to get a hankering for french fries at 3 a.m. Although Hilton Head is arguably one of the most golf-centric islands on the planet, don’t miss the tennis here; they’ve hired the former head coach of the U.S. Olympics tennis team as one of their instructors. Gold.
You're here because
It’s tucked within the larger playland of 5,000-acre The Sea Pines Resort—an annual getaway for generations—where the special events calendar teems with activity nearly every weekend, whether you want to attend a Lowcountry Boil and shrimp festival or Halloween wagon ride through Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
The Moment
Well-heeled southerners all count LeSpa of Sea Pines among their grooming repertoire, and as you settle into your pedicure chair, you’re starting to see why. Your Deluxe Pedicure includes a whirlpool soak and paraffin treatment, which is enough to make you audibly sigh in bliss. Why again don’t you just move here?
