Nashville, Tennessee
Conrad Nashville
Sleek & Stylish
What it is
A gleaming 234-room tower with luxe amenities, a locavore restaurant, two buzzing bars, and an al fresco pool.
What it isn't
Pet-friendly. Great news for anyone allergic or turned-off by a puff of fur in the elevator.
What we think
If your version of Nashville elegance is limited to late-night honkey tonks, think twice. Conrad Nashville looks as refined and chic as anything you’d find in Paris, transported to the boomtown of Tennessee. Each guest room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows; custom furniture (such as sculptural beds complete with seating nooks); and pampering touches like Frette linens, Byredo toiletries and espresso machines. Rooms begin at a whopping 410 square feet; if you’re bringing the whole band, consider booking a 1,117-square-foot Superior Suite for a living room, dining room and extra powder room (handy when your lead singer is taking a long rain shower or steeping in the soaking tub.) Don’t miss the restorative juices at Blue Aster, the hotel’s regional food restaurant; the Well Being (kale, lemon, spinach, ginger and cucumber) is almost guaranteed to reset you from the inside out.
You're here because
The street food menu at Thistle & Rye, the hotel’s live music venue and bar, will rival anything you had in Beijing. (Don’t miss the Bao Bun with char sui burnt ends, daikon sprouts, sesame and pickled vegetables.)
The Moment
At afternoon tea at Blue Aster, you’re so besotted you may have to write a ballad. Settled in by the fire, the only thing better than the roe-topped lobster roll before you is the incoming dessert….complete with strawberry petit gateaux with coconut caviar. Heaven on a plate.
Restaurants & Bars
Blue Aster - The restaurant’s seasonal menus focus heavily on a farm-to-table approach, sourcing ingredients from local and regional purveyors and farms, along with a selection of fresh seafood and a variety of local ranch steaks.
The Lounge at Blue Aster - Provides an elegant, contemporary space to enjoy fine Champagnes, creative Southern cocktails and exceptional wines from the 2,500 bottle curated wine room, making it the perfect day-to-night destination.
Thistle & Rye - Guests can enjoy live music, an indoor-outdoor bar, large patio and windows overlooking bustling downtown Nashville.
Location
Midtown Nashville, just a couple blocks walk from Music Row; stop by Elvis Presley’s Recording Room, a.k.a Historic RCA Studio B, to stand in the same spot where Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, and, yes, Elvis, recorded so many hit tracks.
