What it is
A music-inspired hipster hideaway with three sceney bars and restaurants (including one on the roof).
What it isn't
Equipped with a pool or spa. But there’s a 24-hour gym, and the concierge here will be happy to book you an in-room massage, which is arguably better, especially when you’re nodding off.
What we think
If Thompson Nashville was open when Dolly Parton first moved to this city at 18, she would have always loved this place. For one thing, the guest rooms are an upstart country music star’s dream sprung to life, from the Marshall Bluetooth Speaker to the hardwood floors to the honor bar filled with curated made-in-Nashville treats. (Amenities also include the softest ever 400 thread count SFERRA sheets and rain showers, for all those singing-in-the-shower moments). Book the Executive Suite for a deep soaking tub, seperate living space and floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap two sides of the room.
You're here because
The hotel is *actually* pet friendly; all you have to do is sign a pet agreement at check-in.
When you see Nashville locals beelining for L.A. Jackson, the hotel’s top floor rooftop restaurant and bar, you follow. As DJ’s spin into the sunset, you sip their signature frose and think: “it’s summer here. Every day of the year.”
Restaraunts & Bars
- Marsh House - modern spacious setting where guests can enjoy a seafood focused menu.
- L.A. Jackson - a rooftop cocktail bar featuring spirits, wines and a beer selection focused on Southern breweries. Small plates and snacks are available.
- Killerbrew - open for breakfast and lunch, this famous cafe bakery also makes excellent sandwiches.
In The Gulch, one of Nashville’s most well-heeled downtown neighborhoods, within a quick stroll of the Musician's Hall of Fame and Museum, where you can see the instruments of everyone from Elvis to Jimi Hendrix.
