The Las Colinas Resort Dallas
Lush and Luxe
What it is
A freshly revamped 400-acre retreat with two championship golf courses, a dazzling spa, an iconic thoroughly Texan restaurant, and three pools you won’t want to leave.
What it isn't
Boring. The resort plans seasonal exploits throughout the year for all ages, including s’mores by the campfire, airbrush tattoos by the main pool, live music in the Outlaw Taproom, and even an indulgent rolling candy cart.
What we think
Imagine a nine-story tower and spacious villas presiding over rolling, verdant lawns that appear to stretch in all directions, and you’ve got Las Colinas. One of the most sparkling jewels in Dallas’s crown, the resort is a true getaway from the city—but just 13 miles from downtown. Guest rooms are traditionally appointed and plush, with down pillows and duvets, furnished balconies, and cushy reading chairs that are also ideal for taking in the jaw-dropping views. We particularly love the Villas, which sit right on the golf course and have private fire pits on their boxwood-ringed patios and oversized bathrooms.
You're here because
Service is sumptuous, and includes twice daily housekeeping and turndown; gratis shoeshines; a complimentary pet package; 24-hour dry cleaning; and more.
Locavore food is always the order of the day at LAW—short for Land Air Water. Tonight’s meal is so divine you might just page Michelin, including an Akushi wagyu boneless ribeye from the nearby Arrowhead Ranch.

The tony suburban neighborhood of Las Colinas just outside downtown Dallas, just two miles from the Toyota Music Factory—a partially al fresco music venue that hosts Bush, Weezer, Counting Crows, and innumerable other icons.
