Private butlers can quickly press a suit, shine shoes before a power lunch or make reservations at the hotel’s Remington restaurant, where hearty dishes include a rosemary-grilled lamb chop and pan-seared duck breast. Afterwards, local energy magnates and guests alike gather in the Remington Bar for heady martinis and old fashions served up at tables framed by rich wood walls; enjoy live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. There’s also an outdoor swimming pool—a cool respite if you hit Houston on a humid day—and a spa and gym.
