Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley Resort
Wild & Wonderful
What it is
A 40-villa all-inclusive wellness retreat on a 7,000-acre conservation reserve.
What it isn't
Urban. You’re a two and a half hour drive from Sydney and you wouldn’t have it any other way, thanks to the on-site safaris and equestrian experiences.
What we think
Guests often want to pinch themselves when they first step foot on this property. Perhaps it’s the kangaroos heralding your arrival, or the Blue Mountain peaks and lush Wolgan valley that encircles your villa. Or maybe it’s your Federation period-inspired villa itself, stocked as it is with a double-sided sandstone fireplace, plunge pool and veranda tailor-made for soaking in the chatter of birds. Things get even more jaw-dropping in the spa, where plant-based treatments include basalt stone massages and Himalayan salt scrubs—the perfect counterpoint to a day spent horseback riding the surrounding ridgelines, or a twilight sundowner safari ogling the area’s wallaroos, kangaroos, wallabies and wedge tailed eagles.
You're here because
You don’t sit still ever, even when you’re on vacation, and the activities list here made you literally salivate. Mountain biking? Guided nature walks? Pilates? Sold.
You feel a bit like a royal whenever you pop into the Wolgan Dining Room, the on-site fireside locavore restaurant, but especially at breakfast: your all-inclusive stay includes the entire lineup of toothsome options, from organic muesli to local honeys, meats and cheeses, all raring to kick-start another perfect day on the ranch.
