Algodon Mansion
Grandeur and Grace
What it is
An ornate 1912 Neoclassical manse reborn as an all-suite boutique hotel, with a dazzling rooftop pool and guests-only wine bar.
What it isn't
Thirsty. The team behind the Algodon Mansion has a sister property in Mendoza, Algodon Wine Estates, that keeps topnotch wines flowing.
What we think
No expense was spared in the making of Algodon Mansion, where each and every room is a V.I.P.-ready suite—oversized, and overly indulgent (yes, that’s a steam shower with a Hansgrohe waterfall fixture in your baño). Expect gleaming interiors and lavish finishes, down to the Italian Calacatta marble and French limestone gracing the bathrooms. Every room option is huge, starting at 600 square feet for a Recoleta Suite; to feel like you’re in your own private estate, we love the Algodon Royale Suite—with a 1,300 square foot floor plan, fanciful fireplaces, and your very own wine bar.
You're here because
The guests-only “sky bar” serves gratis wines from the hotel’s own vineyard in Mendoza, and you love little more than a glass with a view.
The Moment
After a grueling workout at the nearby Deporte Total fitness studio, where guests have a comped membership, you opt to reward yourself in the best possible way: swimming on the roof, then sipping a malbec as the sun goes down.
