InterContinental Bordeaux Le Grand Hotel
Old-world character, modern luxury
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.
A favorite hideaway in the city, Grand Hotel de Bordeaux & Spa occupies an enviable position across from the Opéra de Bordeaux. Having undergone a complete restoration — without losing its original beauty and character — the hotel now offers a Michelin-star gourmet restaurant that serves fresh seafood and fine local wines, as well as a casual brasserie that draws upon the best local ingredients. Each of the 150 guestrooms and suites is equipped with a flatscreen television, marble bathroom and complimentary Internet. Newly opened is a sublime, lavishly decorated spa. The Wine Concierge is available to help you enjoy the perfect vintage.
