Auberge Du Soleil
Napa Valley, California
What it is
A romantic getaway for couples that simply want to spend time together in a luxurious paradise.
What it isn't
An activity-filled resort for guests who grow restless (including your kids who must be 16 or older to stay at the hotel.)
What we think
Sitting up in the Napa hillside, this romantic boutique resort is surrounded by 30 or so acres of vineyards and olive groves. Because of its hillside location, this is where you can get some of the best views in the entire valley. The property is a mix of classic and contemporary styles that can best be described as something pulled out the French countryside and dropped conveniently in the heart of Napa Valley. The 50 “Maison” rooms all have fireplaces, oversized bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and french doors leading out to private terraces. By day, spend your time being pampered at the 7,000 square foot spa and wandering through the hotel’s sculpture garden. By night, dine on impeccable Californian cuisine at the hotel’s restaurant, which is one of the few in the area that has garnered a Michelin star.
You're here because
You want a romantic resort that will make you feel like you’re staying in Provence.
Upon arrival, walking into the reception hall and instantly being drawn to the balcony for your first glimpse of the soaring Napa hills.
The hotel is a five-minute drive from Rutherford Village, as well as a quick ride to a number of nearby vineyards.
