Four Seasons Maui At Wailea
Fun in the Sun
What it is
A service-driven mainstay on Wailea Beach with a jaw-dropping activities list.
What it isn't
Phoning it in. Among their next-level spa services? A Cryotherapy Energy facial that reportedly erases burgeoning wrinkles.
What we think
When gratis services include a lei greeting, lather bath amenities and overnight sandal repair...you know you’re in for a tropical treat. Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has thought of literally everything you could imagine from a Hawaiian vacay, whether you want to attempt scooter snorkelling (even more riotous than it sounds) or just lounge in a cabana as staffers spritz you down hourly. Accommodations are just as well considered, with floor-to-ceiling windows that peep out on the Instagrammable views and spa-like marble-lined bathrooms.
You're here because
Every Hawaiin dream you’ve ever conjured can be made true with the help of their concierge: swimming in lava caves, horseback riding on verdant earth with a fifth-generation cowboy, and whale watching under the sea alongside renowned underwater photographers Dan and John Cesere.
Candles twinkle from lanterns lofted above you at Ferraro’s Bar e Ristorante, reportedly the only seafront, Zagat-rated eatery in Wailea. But they’re not the only things casting a glow over you now, not at dusk, not when the sky has turned pink, then purple, in its quest for rest. It’s the Kona lobster with torchietti pasta that has you practically gleaming. You have to pinch yourself. Is this heaven? It just might be.
On Maui’s Wailea Beach, a 25 minute ride from Kahului Airport. Iconic golf courses (including the Blue Course) are just a five minute drive from the property.
