Hotel Vernet

Discrete Parisian luxury with a modern flair.

What it is

A lovely little French hotel with contemporary style and a stellar location.

What it isn't

Classic style or white-gloved service, although the hotel’s location suggests it.

What we think

Housed in a 19th-century Parisian building, you would never know that inside is a wonderfully contemporary luxury hotel. Transformed by designer Francois Champsaur, stylish modern furniture and contemporary artwork adorn the hotel making guests feel like they’re experiencing Parisian life of the current day (rather than the more Old World Parisian life of the city’s grande dame hotels). The true “piece de resistance” is the enormous stained glass dome covering the hotel’s restaurant, which in the morning, is the perfect place to eat a sun-soaked buffet breakfast. The 50 rooms share the same contemporary style of the rest of the property with warm wood surfaces, creative light fixtures and pops of colorful patterns. The rooms start at 236 square feet so you’ll need to upgrade if space is your primary goal, but otherwise the smaller rooms are comfortable and lovely mosaic tile bathrooms are a nice bonus (as well as the Hermes bath products inside of them!).

You're here because

You appreciate discrete, under-the-radar luxury and want to experience the lifestyle of today’s Parisian.

The Moment

Beams of sunlight warm your body as you sip an afternoon “café” under the hotel’s stained glass dome.
