Set in East Bali overlooking the vast sweep of Lombok Strait, Amankila (‘peaceful hill’) is a cliff-side beach resort. Thirty-four suites enjoy spectacular sea and coastal views and connect by elevated walkways to the main facilities. At the base of the cliff, the Beach Club is set within a grove of mature coconut palms and features a 41-meter lap pool and restaurant for light lunches. Traditional Balinese massage is available at the Beach Club, in guests’ suites or in the massage pavilion. Some of Bali’s best touring and hiking excursions can be arranged through the resort.
