Park City, Utah
The St. Regis Deer Valley
Pride of Park City
What it is
A 104 room, 69 suite celeb-magnet mountain resort with ski-in, ski-out access to Deer Valley’s slopes.
What it isn't
Only for gnar-shredding. On-site amenities include a split-level infinity pool and Remède Spa, plus three on-site restaurants that put most others in the region to shame.
What we think
If pampering is forever on your vacation agenda, look no further than St. Regis Deer Valley. Guests of the ultra-luxe resort slung in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains are treated to everything from ski valets (who’ll actually put on your pre-warmed ski boots for you) to 24-hour room service. Rooms are huge (starting at 410 square feet) and equally tricked-out, with surround sound Denon theater systems, rain showers in the marble-lined baths, iPod docking stations and Frette Egyptian-cotton linen swathed beds. Upgrade to a suite for two gas fireplaces, an Ina Garten-ready kitchen (Wolf stove! SubZero refrigerator! Bosch dishwasher!) and private balcony perfect for peeping out on the alpenglow at sunset.
You're here because
Kiddos are treated like ski legends, with over-the-top pampering: expect child-sized robes and slippers, welcome treats and free s’mores round the campfire.
You didn’t know you could possibly feel more chilled out than you did at the top of the mountain yesterday, wind caressing your cheeks. But this afternoon, sitting by the reflecting pool in the resort’s 14,000-square-foot Remède Spa, you may just cry of pure happiness. And your Bear Dance Ritual—with Ayurvedic massage and indegenous herbal poultices—hasn’t even started yet.
