The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

An Autograph Collection Hotel

What it is

A hip, fashion-conscious alternative to standard Sin City schlock.

What it isn't

Smoke and mirrors. The Cosmopolitan backs up its well-earned reputation with on-point offerings, including a Southwest-inspired hammam and restaurants from standard-bearers like Blue Ribbon, José Andrés and Momofuku.

What we think

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, unless you’ve vacationed at The Cosmopolitan. That’s because you won’t be able to keep yourself from raving to everyone about your trip: the palm-shrouded Chelsea Pool, which feels like an oasis; the Moroccan mint tea purifying bath in the spa; the Art-o-Mat vending machines that dispense original works the size of cigarettes. The Cosmopolitan makes the Strip feel safe for well-heeled travelers who want more than laser light shows and $19.99 buffets from their Vegas jaunt. The bevy of restaurants are all accomplished, the casino floor is a touch more sophisto than most, and the 3,000-plus rooms are designed as restorative hideaways with Art Deco–inspired interiors, marble-floored bathrooms and balconies—so you can remember what real oxygen feels like. Keep in mind, all rates here include access to the fab 24-hour fitness center, tennis court (based on availability) and complimentary self- and valet parking.

You're here because

You don’t have to win anything to feel like a winner here, and that’s a very, very rare emotion in Las Vegas.

The Moment

Of the many deals to be had in Vegas, José Andrés has come up with one of the best: at China Poblano’s social hour, you can tuck into lotus chips with star anise salt for $2 and fried shrimp wontons for $3. More cash to blow in the hotel's High Limit Slot lounge!
