Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
Magical Marvel
What it is
A towering retreat for all ages set inside Walt Disney World Resort.
What it isn't
For kids only. Of course, teensy travelers will adore it, but they’re catering to you, too, with unlimited rounds on its Tom Fazio-designed golf course, a tranquil spa and an adults-only pool.
What we think
If Disney itself feels overwhelming, Four Seasons has the antidote—a restful reprieve where you can R&R between stints on Space Mountain. Guest rooms are done in tranquil hues (tawny neutrals and turquoise blues); ask one for a private balcony overlooking the Magic Kingdom and you’ll be treated to a raucous fireworks show each evening. Among the pampering in-room amenities? Twice-daily housekeeping; 24/7 room service; gratis shoeshines; Bose Bluetooth speakers; an on-demand Plum wine system; and loaner DVD players—should you have a hankering to watch Lady and the Tramp for the 27th time.
You're here because
Guests are treated to Extra Magic Hours and Disney Fastpass+, which means you and your brood can maximize your time in the park (often starting at 6 a.m. daily) and avoid the dreaded lines when you’d rather be back at the resort with a margarita.
The Moment
You have to admit you’re not always a fan of the hotel breakfast buffet, having slogged through too many mushy waffles to count. But the resort’s Character Breakfast is as delicious as they come (with everything from just-baked almond croissants to lemon ricotta French toast on the menu). Plus: you’ve now decided there’s no better wake up call than Goofy at your table—and a photographer capturing your kids wide-eyed delight.
