Singita Lebombo Lodge resembles a collection of eagles’ nests perched against rugged cliffs above the N’wanetsi River. The ethereal feel of Singita Lebombo and its expansive views offer guests a sense of airiness and freedom. Throughout the lodge, the imaginative use of glass, wood and steel invites the surrounding landscape indoors. The lounge area shows off the views to great effect and is furnished with ornamental pieces made from grass and wood, steel and glass, and soft fabrics in light shades that mirror the spectacular scenery. Using raw materials from the region, local artists have created many of the unusual pieces that decorate this space. A sweeping wooden deck with sunbeds and lap pool offers the ideal vantage to take in the bushveld below.

The 15 loft-style suites are suspended high above the N’wanetsi River and have a weightless feel to them. As with the main lodge, the suites boast wood, steel and organic interiors encased in glass and present a stylishly contemporary look. They have rustic wooden floors, layered lattice ceilings and enormous beds that seduce with their Egyptian cotton sheets and silky-soft throws. There’s also the option of sleeping on the suite’s deck with nothing more than mosquito netting between you and the stars.
