What it is

A traditional spa hotel with modern elements in the foothills of the Black Forest. The main property is currently undergoing extensive modernization work, so there are currently fewer rooms available, although there are beautiful accommodations in our exclusive Villa Stéphanie and Park Villa. There are no restrictions on the service or the quality of the hotel facilities.

What it isn't

Filled with Twittering club kids from Berlin. People come here to relax and revive, not to blow off steam.

What we think

Health-obsessives have been traveling to “take the waters” in this thermal spring spa town since the Roman era. Enter the 22-room ‘Brenners’, which has soothed heads of state (Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, King Edward VII) and other powerhouses (from Bono to Victoria Beckham) since it opened its gilded doors in 1872.
