Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Caldera House, Jackson Hole
High Life Hotspot
What it is
A newly opened, all-suite millionaire’s retreat in Teton Village with expert-led adventures.
What it isn't
Lacking. Sure, this is Wyoming, but expect food and spa offerings on par with anything you’d experience in Manhattan.
What we think
When discriminating aesthetes long for an alpine vacation, they come here—to the most Architectural Digest-worthy new spread in the Rocky Mountains. Suites (and they’re allsuites here) were designed by Commune Design and Carney Logan Burke, a brilliant hire that resulted in Mid Century-learning interiors that feel unmistakably "now": all blonde woods, soaring ceilings and sculptural chairs that Eames would happily plop down in. Locals beeline to the Southcable Cafe, which is seated at the base of the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram and ideal for a pre-slalom nosh on banana cream pie oatmeal, as well as the restaurant Old Yellowstone Garage, where apres-ski musts include bone marrow fondue with San Daniele Prosciutto and ciabatta.
You're here because
The 24-hour gym includes a heated al fresco infinity pool and a cedar-lined dry sauna, not to mention Peleton bikes and a yoga corner (“ommm”).
The Moment
You shredded the gnar like never before today, and now, it’s time to relax. You expected the hot stone massage in the spa to feel blissful, but you didn’t expect the Caldera Apres Ski Lift & Renew Facial, with a lactic acid peel and collagen mask, to take literal years (years!) off your life. You’re going to need to re-book every season.
