Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City
Graceful Grandeur
What it is
A Spanish Colonial-inspired hacienda centered around a leafy courtyard, with a rooftop pool, detoxing spa, and four delightful restaurants.
What it isn't
Just for grown ups. Kids are fully pampered here, too, whether you’d like to surprise them with milk and cookies at check-in or a teddy bear welcome treat.
What we think
In such an ancient city—founded by the Aztecs circa 1325—booking a historic-feeling hideaway is practically required. But a hotel that combines storied architecture with the high-tech touches and spaciousness modern travelers require? Not so easy to find…unless you’re at the Four Seasons. Guest rooms here begin at a whopping 537 square feet, each adorned with eye candy crown molding, Colonial-inspired windows, and marble-lined bathrooms with a deep soaking tub. In-room amenities are as luxe as you’ve come to expect from the brand, including Nespresso coffee machines, plush terry cloth robes and slippers ideal for raiding the in-room bar, and free zippy wi-fi. We love the 730-square-foot Premier Terrace Room, with its private sitting area al fresco on a checkerboard floor, and the 1,529 square foot Master Garden-View Suite, which has a separate dining room and antiques galore within its eighth floor perch.
You're here because
They’ve curated experiences ranging from Mezcal making to balloon rides over Teotihuacan pyramids.
The Moment
Bellied up to the antique mirror-lined bar at Fifty Mils, you’re feeling extra hot…so order a cocktail that represents your current level of love for Mexico City. The Fenix—made with toast infused Ketel One, honey and bacon syrup, ginger extract and turmeric—is served literally on fire, and is, just like you feel, fabulous at a glance.
