Four Seasons Tokyo At Otemachi
Skyscraping Style
What it is
A 190-room hideaway within a sleek 39-story tower, with four glamorous dining options (including a French restaurant helmed by a Michelin starred chef) and a high-tech spa and indoor pool.
What it isn't
Just for business travelers. Four Seasons rolls out the proverbial red carpet for all ages; children here will find everything from kids menus to wee bathrobes to a starry tent in their room at check-in.
What we think
In a neighborhood known for its high power business bravado, Four Seasons is up to snuff. Every room is expansive (the beginning Superior Rooms start at a ginormous 527 square feet), and as pampering as they come—with floor to ceiling windows, loaner iPads for summoning guest services, Nespresso machines, and topnotch services like twice daily housekeeping and gratis shoeshines. Book a 656-square-foot Studio Room for a show stopping corner panorama over the skyline, plus a marble soaking tub you won’t want to get out of. (Families with kids in tow often prefer the Executive Suite for its separate living room, a sanity saver.) While you’re here, be sure to take advantage of their pre-planned experiences; you can take guided tours of sumo wrestling stables or bar hop in the neon-lit, 1950s bars of Golden Gai.
You're here because
You love a sunset cocktail, and the hotel has one of the district’s rare open-air rooftop terraces. (Bonus: it overlooks the lush grounds of the Imperial Palace.)
The Moment
After a restorative dip in the spa’s gleaming pool, you couldn’t be more ecstatic about your treatment choice: an orange LED light facial with ion therapy. Jane Jetson-approved.
