What it isn't

Soulless. Among the charming activities right on the premises: boutique shopping at Keep Shop, open 24 hours a day for everything from cactus face polish to Stetson hats made in Garland, Texas.

What we think

Nashville’s star has had a dizzying ascent in recent years—and it’s thanks in part to hotels like this. Noelle is as stylish as anything you’ll find in Paris, right here in Tennessee. Even the beginning room category, the 245 square foot Classic Kings, are worthy of a spread in Elle Decor thanks to Art Deco-inspired millwork, custom furniture, hickory hardwood floors, and embroidered bed linens. For extra room to roam, we love the Designer Suites; they’re 598 foot floor plans include separate living rooms with dining areas and showstopping wraparound views. Either way, you’ll be treated like Grand Ole Opry royalty with amenities like 300 thread count sheets, handwoven robes and slippers, zippy free Wifi, automated blackout shades and oh so much more. Y’all run, don’t walk.

The rooftop bar, Rare Bird, is one of the best you’ve seen: with a flickering fireplace and caviar-dusted fried chicken (an ideal pairing for their Sparrow’s Rose cocktail, with bourbon, rosemary, orange and cranberry).
