What we think

For anyone who wants to spend all day soaking up city life, but retreat to an idyllic luxury oasis, Pendry is the spot. It just so happens the serene ode to elegance is set right on Midtown’s 33rd Street. Thanks to their floor-to-ceiling windows, the small footprint of starter City King rooms (285-square-feet) still manage to feel huge. We love that each one has sleek blonde wood furnishings galore, marble bathrooms and high-end amenities, including Fili D’Oro bed linens, bespoke toiletries from MiN, and high def TVs. For a truly extravagant experience, you can’t do much better than the Skyline Corner One Bedroom Suite, a nearly 900-square-foot hideaway with a powder room, walk-in-closet, and two(!) living rooms. Local New Yorkers will salivate.
