Prince De Galles Paris

A Luxury Collection Hotel

What it is

Peace and quiet just steps from the Golden Triangle.

What it isn't

The pinnacle of luxury you’d encounter at Paris’s other palace hotels.

What we think

A 2013 restoration by Pierre-Yves Rochon inserted a healthy dose of modernity into this nearly 90-year-old hotel. The 115 rooms are a bit smaller than some of Paris’ other five-stars, but little luxuries—intricate mosaic work, Christian Lacroix bath products—make up for the reduced space (some rooms have balconies overlooking the rooftops of Paris). The outdoor courtyard, Le Patio, is a welcoming place to enjoy a cocktail beneath tall palm trees after a day of taking advantage of the hotel’s prime location (Bulgari and Hermès are right down the street). Otherwise, redefine the term “afternoon snack” at the White Lounge, where champagne and caviar are the only items on the menu. There’s no spa per se, but the Wellness Suite offers customized treatments and a hammam.

You're here because

You appreciate contemporary luxury and you love to shop.

The Moment

Sipping a martini in the courtyard while looking up at the palm trees and the Art Deco columns.
