SO/ Paris Hotel

Art-Filled Luxury

What it is

An exquisite 162-room gem with a Maison CODAGE Spa and hammam, rooftop club and bar, and locally beloved 1960s inspired brasserie, Bonnie.

What it isn't

Aesthetically boring. The art collection rivals anything you’ll see at the Pompidou, including works by Olafur Eliasson and photogram artist Thomas Fougeirol.

What we think

Nobody comes to Paris for a dull experience. They come for eye candy—and SO/ Paris has it in spades. Even the 270-square-foot “starter” rooms here are so chic they look torn from a copy of Elle Decor France, with their slatted wood walls, saffron color palettes and subtly nautical theme. The hoteliers ensured amenities were as luxe as they come; expect a walk-in shower (complete with CODAGE Paris toiletries), Nespresso machine, AeroBull bluetooth speaker and even gratis non-alcoholic beverages in the minibar. For a roomier stay, we love the Atelier Seine suite; the 615-square-foot room sleeps three and has a soaking tub and a starlings-eye view of the Eiffel Tower from the 13th floor.

You're here because

You love a restaurant that tastes as good as it looks, and Bonnie—inspired by the Space Age, and set overlooking the cityscape on the 15th floor—is just that, with Francophile-beloved dishes like Burgundy snails in parsley butter.

The Moment

After steeping in the spa’s Turkish hammam, you’re feeling brand new. Until your haute couture massage, that is. After 90 minutes, you’re not just brand new—you’re a newborn.

Restaurants & Bars

Bonnie - The restaurant, club and bar span the top two floors of the building and offer a photogenic 360° panoramic view of city.

Location

Just a block from the Seine, and six from Place des Vosges. Design lovers love that Pavillon de l’Arsenal sits directly across the street, and is the spot to learn all about Parisian architecture then and now.
