Riviera Maya, Mexico
UNICO 20°87° Riviera Maya
Marvel of the Riviera Maya
What it is
An adults-only all-inclusive with a locavore ethos and holistic spa.
What it isn't
Your momma’s all-inclusive. Don’t expect congo lines or tepid, over-picked buffets.
What we think
In theory, all-inclusive resorts are great for vacay: you have no worries, beyond which cocktail to order next. In reality, though, they can be terrifying sights—wellsprings of Ugly Americans on a binge and bender. Thankfully, UNICO 20°87° is keeping the best of the concept (an entirely stress-free holiday that includes pretty much everything) but adding things today’s glitterati have come to expect and demand: mixologists on-site, yoga on the shore, regional food totally worthy of the ‘gram (order the pork cooked in a stone oven with jungle wood at Cueva Sieta, one of the resort's five restaurants). Did we mention your minimalist-chic room comes with a customized mini bar, high-speed wi-fi, gratis calls to the US and Canada and….wait for it….24-hour room service with churros and xocolatl cake on the menu? We want to move in, too.
You're here because
UNICO 20°87° has created what’s arguably the most stunning resort in Quintana Roo, if not all of Mexico—and we’re not just saying that because we’ve steeped in the soaking tubs overlooking the Caribbean.
The Moment
You never expected that you’d be getting gratis spa treatments—but UNICO 20°87° is a resort like no other. When your masseuse begins plying you with locally sourced volcanic stones, then starts in on your blue agave facial, you feel yourself melt in bliss.
