W Rome

History Rebon

What it is

A new 162-room gem tucked into an ancient palazzo, with a Wet Deck outdoor pool on the 6th floor and a dreamy rooftop bar.

What it isn't

Avoiding sweets. The hotel has its own Wonka-ready pastry shop by Rome-born Chef Fabrizio Fiorani.

What we think

“When in Rome,” as the saying goes, you simply must indulge. The ghosts of Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck demand it. And the new W Rome was seemingly designed to pamper creative types, with its art-stocked halls and buzzing dining options. But it’s the guest rooms that feel truly sumptuous after a day spent strolling the cobblestones. Even the 247-square-foot “Fabulous room” is a treat, with its herringbone wood floors, channel tufted leather headboard, marble-lined bath and intricately paneled walls. Upgrade to the “Fantastic” for your own balcony; the “Cool Corner Balcony” also has its own separate sitting area, the perfect spot for your 7 a.m. espresso.

You're here because

Amenities include 24-hour room service, gratis bottled water and in-room air conditioning (too rare, here).

The Moment

With its colorful cocktails and rainbow-bright place settings, the hotel’s Giano Restaurant seems like it was designed for Insta. But the on-point Sicilian menu—including this unforgettable Palermo-style swordfish—proves it’s as authentic as it gets.

Restaurants & Bars

Giano Restaurant - The lauded Italian Michelin-starred chef Ciccio Sultano brings authentic Sicilian cooking to the table.

Otto Rooftop - Bring relaxation to another level and pair your panoramic views with Cocktails, Crudo and Pizza.

Giardino Clandestino - The beating centerpiece of W Rome. Mix and mingle, sharing a dish or three while you catch glimpses of roaming entertainment.

W Lounge Bar - An all-hours destination to enjoy contemporary cocktails Made in Italy, an unexpected wine selection and infused spirits.

Zucchero x Fabrizio Fiorani - A heaven for Cannolo's, Chocolate, Cassata Siciliana, Ice Cream and jaw dropping cakes. Ciccio Sultano’s sweet wizard Fabrizio Fiorani curated the selection.

Location

Just a few blocks walk from the Villa Borghese in Rome’s Ludovisi district. Six blocks in the other direction: the National Gallery of Ancient Art in Barberini Palace, which is stocked with works by El Greco, Caravaggio, and so many more.
