What we think

This is a different, more magical side of Cancun: a place where guest rooms start at a whopping 675 square feet and come with plunge pools on their private balconies and LED-lit custom wood paneling. Where a serene color palette of sandy blondes and cloud whites replaces the region’s often candy-colored design, and puts the focus on the turquoise ocean beyond your windows. Is there anything better? For easy proximity to the beach, we love the Swim Up Pool 1 King Guestroom (and yep…it has its own swim-up pool). Traveling en famille? The Ocean Front Master Corner Suite is as luxe as it sounds, with a 1,680-square-foot floor plan and a separate living room—complete with a pool table—plus a wraparound balcony. Be sure to ask about their Mezcal tasting classes, which are hosted by their on-staff tequilier.
