What it is
A 30 story tower of elegant suites, seven glitzy bars and restaurants, 13,000-square-foot spa and salon, and a serene outdoor pool on the 9th floor.
What it isn't
Poorly serviced. Raffles trademark Raffles Butlers await to handle everything from unpacking your bags to prepping drinks, 24/7.
What we think
Every single room here is a suite (starting at an enormous 646 square feet), which tells you something about how sumptuously each and every guest is treated. We love the Artist Suites, which are fitted with separate parlors, floor to ceiling windows, marble-lined bathrooms with soaking tubs, and plush touches like silk damask and thick pile hand-tufted rugs on the hardwood floors. If you’re traveling en famille, consider the 1,292-square-foot Legacy Suite—it has an outsized living and dining room, rainfall shower and a walk-in wardrobe that even legendary clotheshorse Imelda Marcos would be delighted by. Bringing the kids? Ask about the 11th floor kids lounge and any turn-down treats available for littles.
You're here because
What can you say…you love a butler! Here, they treat you like royalty, down to the gratis breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails in the Writers Bar, inspired by authors who have stayed there.
You feel quite refreshed after emerging from the glimmering outdoor pool, and decide a stiff drink is in order. Your chosen haunt? Mistral, the hotel’s rooftop bar, where a DJ makes the ultimate wingman.
