Nestling in a 47-acre private park overlooking Lake Geneva the hotel is a rare example of French-style luxury offering 150 rooms including 32 exceptional suites. The hotel was totally refurbished in 2015 to enhance the building architecture from 1900 by combining it with the most stylish and elegant contemporary decor. Evian-les-Bains is a reflection of the French Belle Epoque. Its lakeside promenade beaches narrow pedestrian streets terraces golf course casino marina bustling summer market and remarkable monuments that include the Villa Lumiere the former summer residence of the Lumiere family and the Palais Lumiere the former thermal spa and now a cultural centre. The station port shops restaurants and attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. It is also possible to use the Evian Resort private shuttle service or the charming funicular railway in operation from April to September to go into the town centre in just a few minutes. The restaurant, Les Fresques of the Hotel Royal has been rewarded with a Star by this year Michelin Guide. A new distinction further to Royal Evian receiving Palace status in Nov 2016.
The hotel will be closed for the winter season from November 14 to December 16, 2021 inclusive.
