A heaven of peace
What we think
Skylark only includes hotels that meet our stamp of approval. Our editorial review for this one isn’t ready yet — but we’re working on it! Below is the hotel’s own description.

La Cheneviere is an 18th century chateau situated between Omaha Beach- where the American forces landed on D-Day- and the historic town of Bayeux- famous for its tapestry depicting William the Conqueror. Standing in its own parkland- the hotel embraces the graceful mannerisms of a bygone era and the warmth of an English country house. The dining room- overlooking the park- has a certain grandeur on an intimate scale- while classic cuisine allows you to explore all the distinctive flavors of Chateau La Cheneviere is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.
