Le Grand Hôtel Enghien-les-Bains
A Barrière Hotel
What it is
A wellness retreat with a nearly 38,000-square-foot spa, 7 bars and restaurants, and proximity to the legendary casino and thermal baths.
What it isn't
Poorly serviced. Hotel guests can indulge in room service, transfers, laundry service and so much more.
What we think
Yes, the spa here is nothing less than ginormous. But the 72 guest rooms themselves are serene and restorative, too. Even the “starter” category, the Superior Room, is equipped with a private balcony ideal for sipping your morning cuppa and robes for cozily lounging the day away. Because they begin at 269 square feet, those traveling in a couple or group may prefer to upgrade themselves to a more generous Deluxe Lakeside Room (you’ll have water views from your very bed) or even a 430 square foot Deluxe Lakeside Suite, which has a fully separate sitting area—plus a V.I.P.-worthy champagne at check-in and daily tickets for two to the spa and casino. How do you say “It’s Vacay, Baby” in French?
You're here because
The only thing you like more than a spa day is a spa day with this many options, including thalassotherapy and cocooning massages.
Under the satin covered walls at Le 85 Restaurant & Bar, you feel like living large. So you order something unforgettable: pistachio and almond studded duck breast, and a pineapple passionfruit cheesecake tart for dessert.
