Paris has no shortage of stylish hotels. And yet Grand Powers has lured guests for more than a century because it goes far beyond looks: the hotel’s beauty comes from within, too, thanks to doting, welcoming service that makes every day a little brighter. Guests will find charm abounds in each and every room, thanks to herringbone wood floors, aged brass fixtures, bedding by local company Matelas Français, and woodwork that gets a glow up from glossy lacquered paint. Rooms start at 215 square feet with the Superior option; to roam like a rabbit in Bois de Boulogne, book the Executive Room with Balcony. They have the same custom headboards and Deco details as the more diminutive rooms, but also come with a sprawling 333 square foot floor plan and dreamy private balcony that’s oh-so-“Emily in Paris.” Whatever room you select, perks abound; amenities include Nespresso machines, Diptyque bath products, robes, minibars, and—always a good idea in a city—soundproof windows.
