JW Marriott Hotel Frankfurt

Sleek Style

What it is

A soaring tower with ginormous guest rooms, three locally beloved bars and restaurants, a serene spa, and an expansive indoor pool and high-tech gym.

What it isn't

Just for humans. The hotel is exceedingly pet-friendly; your fur babies can stay for a small nightly fee.

What we think

In a town so chockablock with skyscrapers, it’s nicknamed “Mainhattan” (a portmanteau of Manhattan and the Main River), and this tower is especially dazzling. Guest rooms here are modern but not cold, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, warm wood floors, channel-tufted furniture, and reportedly the largest floor plans in Frankfurt —beginning at 355 square feet. Even the starting room category, a Deluxe Guest Room, feels like a suite, with its sculptural furniture, deep soaking tub, mosaic-lined shower in the spa-like bath, and perks like evening turndown. To feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud lofted above the cityscape, we love the Skyline Deluxe Room, where corner views out the glass walls are staggering. Another fave is the Skyline Junior Suite, which has a separate living room ideal for cocktail hour (or cocktails under, as they put it here).

You're here because

You love a pool on city vacays; there’s nothing like a dip after a day of exploring the thronged city streets.

The Moment

Tonight, you’re delighted to stay in and indulge bigly at the hotel’s Heritage restaurant, where the lighting is low and romantic…and the menu is nothing less than entrancing, from the lobster bisque drizzled in pimiento olive oil to the wiener schnitzel and cranberries.

Location

Within the buzzing Innenstadt I district, only 29 minutes from the Frankfurt Airport.
