Modern & Airy
What it is
A sleek seasonal respite with artful, white-on-white interiors, a terrace restaurant and sushi spot, wellness spa, private beach and jaw-dropping infinity pool on the Aegean.
What it isn't
Just about laying around, looking at the sea. At Cali, staffers have curated a host of extravagant experiences, including private yacht charters and helipad service.
What we think
Cali is not your γιαγιά’s version of Mykonos. Sure, the walls are white….but the similarities end there. The architecture feels akin to a modernist museum, with plenty of floor to ceiling glass windows, soaring ceilings and pristine lines. Each and every guest room here is a suite or villa, beginning at a whopping 484 square feet, plus a private terrace that’s often even larger. We love the Deluxe suites for their sculptural lighting, king sized beds, marble-lined bathrooms, and gauzy window curtains that flutter and dance in the Aegean sea breeze. For a honeymoon (or second honeymoon)-worthy experience, book the Deluxe Pool Suite, which also has a seawater plunge pool and outdoor shower on the private terrace. How do you say “heavenly” in Greek?
You're here because
The pool is faaaancy, but there’s also a pool bar. Win, win.
The best part of Cali’s freshly-opened new spa is not the hammam, infrared sauna, or ice rooms—although they are exquisite. It is the panorama over the sea from your treatment room, and knowing that when you return to your suite, you’ll get the same gobsmacking view.
