Santorini Secret Suites & Spa
What it is
A clifftop collection of 18 suites overlooking the Caldera, with an infinity pool, al fresco restaurant and locally-inspired spa.
What it isn't
Forgetting its roots. The architecture is pure Santorini, with bleach white walls that make the sparkling water beyond your terrace look all the more turquoise.
What we think
If you’re looking for the Santorini hotel stay of your Instagram dreams, this is it. All 18 suites are adorned in Cycladic style—down to the barrel curved ceilings whitewashed like cumulus clouds—and each one is fitted with a private veranda where your hot tub or plunge pool awaits. You can’t go wrong here, but our favorite room may just be the 538-square-feet Absolute Suite, which has a jetted outdoor hot tub overlooking the Aegean Sea, plus a glassed-in shower and separate sitting area ideal for cocktail hour. Amenities are on par with any five star hotel, including robes and slippers for chillaxed evenings in and twice daily maid service. (Your room will be outfitted with a Smart TV, but we’d bet you won’t even turn it on—not when the sun loungers on your private terrace beckon at all hours).
You're here because
Air conditioning and 24-hour room service really make you feel like a Greek God.
After a week here, you didn’t think you could be more relaxed—until you hit the spa. Today’s treatment? An herbal scrub using sea salt and lavender pulled from the region, and a massage with local volcanic stones. How do you say “Heaven” in Greek?
Restaurants & Bars

A clifftop perch in the ancient fishing village of Oia, an 11 mile drive from the Santorini airport. Just a few blocks away? The Castle of Oia, built during the Renaissance and a must-see for the views from its ancient watchtower.
