Rocco Forte House
Live Like a Local
What it is
An 18th century palazzo transformed into five stylish apartments that feel like home—one with a doting house manager and access to nearby hotel amenities.
What it isn't
Lacking a thing. Guests of these apartments can head five minutes walk away to Hotel de la Ville to indulge in the spa (which has a salt inhalation room and hydro pool, among other things), restaurants (including a vermouth bar), and more.
What we think
The only thing better than a Roman Holiday is feeling like you actually live there. At Rocco Forte House, that’s practically a bona fide amenity. The five apartments within this 18th century palazzo are enormous (beginning at 1,356 square meters) and fitted with everything you need to live your best Italian life, including a Bose sound system, Apple TV, zippy wifi, Illy Espresso machines, loaner bikes…the list goes on. Interiors could anchor scenes in a Fellini film: they’re deeply saturated and look like money. Each option is megawatt, but the best apartment in the building may be Spagna Penthouse with Terrace, so you can sit outside and enjoy your evening negroni in the ancient city’s open air.
You're here because
Optional services will make you feel like a very, very VIP, including butlers, private chefs, breakfast baskets delivered to your apartment…and so much more.
The Moment
You’re zonked from a day on the centuries-old cobblestones, and there’s only one thing that sounds good: ordering a bottle of wine and dinner to be delivered to your very own, blissfully quiet Roman home—or what feels like it.
