Covid-19 - What you should know
Skylark’s advisor team is here to support you. Travel is tricky right now and planning isn’t always straightforward, but our team of advisors is here to assist in every way we can.
What it is
18th-century Catalan farmhouse turned coveted countryside getaway.
What it isn't
Gargantuan. With only 39 suites, expect highly personal service.
What we think
Though this Costa Brava property is shrouded by leafy olive and cypress trees, this is about as far from a rustic rural farmstay as one can get, with lomi lomi massage on offer in the 2,000-square-foot spa, a Tesla charger and even a heliport, should James Bond himself want to chopper in for a weekend of blissful sunbathing. The 39 guest rooms are all suites and they're equal parts charming and pampering—7 of them have their own private pool—but they're all fitted with timeworn antique furniture. For the eco-minded, one of the suites, the "Nature Suite" is the property's new eco-lodge where everything is sustainable, right down to the handmade wooden furniture and eco-friendly mattress. What’s nearby: medieval villages, hiking trails in the Pyrenees foothills, and the Costa Brava’s best beaches and golf courses.
You're here because
You’re fiercely loyal to Relais & Châteaux properties, and Mas de Torrent has been a member since 1990.
Strolling around the cypress tree-studded grounds of the 18th-century Catalan farmhouse with a glass of vino selected from the list with over 800 references, it hits you: this is what they meant about "Dolce Far Niente"—the blissful Mediterranean way of savoring life.
