Nobu Hotel Toronto
What We Think
This isn’t just another luxury hotel; it’s a masterclass in "Sky-High Zen." Designed by Studio Munge, the interiors skip the coldness of glass towers and instead use warm wood, indigo accents, and stone to ground you. By moving the guest rooms to the highest possible floors, Nobu has turned the traditional hotel layout on its head, giving every single guest the "Penthouse" experience and a sense of detached tranquility from the city below.
What It Is
vertical retreat that marks Nobu’s first fully integrated residence, restaurant, and hotel development. Occupying only the top five floors of the west tower, it is a curated, high-altitude sanctuary where Japanese Omotenashi (hospitality) meets the kinetic energy of downtown Toronto.
What It Isn't
A sprawling, anonymous convention hotel. With only 36 keys, it’s a boutique "secret" hidden in plain sight, trading the typical lobby-level chaos for the absolute privacy of the 41st floor and above.
You're Here Because
You want the Nobu lifestyle—the status, the sushi, and the sleek aesthetic—but you also want to be able to disappear. You’re in town for TIFF or a Rogers Centre event, but you want your "home base" to feel like a meditative Japanese ryokan where the city noise can’t reach you.
The Moment
Soaking in your private Hinoki wood ofuro tub as the sun sets behind the CN Tower. With the steam rising and the Toronto skyline laid out at your feet, you realize you have the best seat in the city, and you haven't even gone downstairs to the restaurant yet.
Restaurants & Bars
Nobu Toronto: The two-level, 10,000-square-foot heart of the property. It features a dramatic sake bar, a laser-focused sushi bar, and a dining room centered around a chandelier inspired by overlapping kimono fabrics. It’s the city’s new "see-and-be-seen" epicenter. Sakura Lounge: An exclusive, guest-only retreat. Inspired by traditional Japanese tea houses, this is where you take your complimentary breakfast or a quiet, curated afternoon cocktail away from the crowds. Nobu Bar & Lounge: Located on the ground floor, this double-height space serves as the hotel’s social "lobby," perfect for a Tanoshi Hour cocktail before heading up to dinner.

Location
Tucked away above the Mercer Street bustle, Nobu Toronto trades the grit of the Entertainment District for a high-altitude sanctuary, perching its 36 exclusive keys atop a glass monolith where the CN Tower feels close enough to touch.
