Mii Amo
Star Spa
What it is
A legendary all-inclusive destination spa in red rock country where wellness is about way more than topnotch dining and relaxing treatments.
What it isn't
For littles. The minimum age here is 16—a prime year, as we recall, for a dose of “me time” with expert guidance.
What we think
At Mii Amo, “all-inclusive” really means all inclusive: your 3, 4 or 7-night stay here includes everything from your plush robe and tote bag to your foodie-approved meals to a daily credit for your spa treatments. In short, they roll out the proverbial red carpet (it’s no wonder celebs in desperate need of R&R flock here). We love that each of the 16 casitas feels like home, thanks to deep soaking tubs and radiant-floor heating in the bathrooms, private patios, and regionally-inspired beehive fireplaces; upgrade to a Premium Casita for an outdoor shower. Best of all, the meal plan is seasonal and absolutely delish; much of the produce (including edible flowers and lemon thyme) is grown right on-site in the 450-square-foot garden.
You're here because
Mii Amo wins award after award after award—it’s widely considered one of the best spas in the world.
The Moment
Before your Watsu massage in the spa’s al fresco therapy pool, you decide to take advantage of one of the resort’s myriad activities: watching the sun’s rays glamorize a quartz crystal in the round Crystal Grotto “kiva” room as you set your intentions. To-do lists back home will never compare.
