The St. Regis Residence Club Aspen

Alpine Splendor

What it is

A 25-residence, Gilded Age-inspired manor at the foot of the slopes.

What it isn't

Lacking anything. Guests have every amenity one could covet in a 5-star resort, including a Remède spa and three iconic restaurants.

What we think

Spa-like doesn’t begin to do justice to the residences at St. Regis Residence Club. When your soaking tub opens right to the room, and it all overlooks snow-dusted evergreen trees, you’ll breathe a contented sigh the moment you step foot through the doors. Floor plans are absolutely enormous (starting at 1,600 square feet), and each one has a separate dining room and fireplace-stocked living room, plus a full kitchen and walk-in closet. Want to stretch out even further? Book a three-bedroom residence for a whopping 2,200 square foot floor plan. While you’re here, don’t miss having at least one dinner at Chefs Club, where the menu is made up of 20 dishes designed by star chefs—Daniel Boulud, Mario Batali and Marcus Samuellson, to name just a few, and recently included, for example, stuffed quail with bing cherry.

You're here because

Unlike far too many Colorado mountain hotels, the resort has air-conditioning—you won’t use it often, but it’s nice to know it’s there.

The Moment

After your ski bunny day on Aspen Mountain, you’re ready for a cocktail or three—and delighted to find The Velvet Buck, inspired by 19th century Coloradan pioneers. Your tipple tonight? A Woody Creek Gin and tonic, made of local juniper—because of course it is.
