Miami Beach, Florida
Soho Beach House
Artful beach boutique
What it is
An exclusive boho boutique for creative types.
What it isn't
Rambunctious. The mostly-members policy keeps out the riffraff.
What we think
The Miami outpost of the global social club allows non-members to book a room—as long as you promise not to take pictures. It's worth it for access to the stylishly designed, spacious rooms and the hotel's arty and unpretentious vibe. The 48 rooms are eclectic with boldly patterned tiles, antique spindle tables, retro couches and plenty of dark wood and distressed leather. The oversize bathrooms stocked with Cowshed products and the full bars are big pluses. Only members have access to the music and film vaults and library, but non-members are granted access to the screening room, beach club, and bars and restaurants. Of the latter, Cecconi’s is the highlight: spectacular Italian food in an open-air courtyard under twinkling lights and silver buttonwood trees.
