Marco Island, Florida
JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort
Seafront Stunner
What it is
A 747-room mega resort on three miles of private powder-white beach, with 12 restaurants, two championship-level golf courses, a megawatt spa and family exploits galore.
What it isn't
Just for kids. The resort has an adults-only wing, Paradise by Sirene, that more than lives up to its name with 94 suites exclusive to grownups with their own private rooftop pool and even a stretch of sand that’s only for guests 21+. Serene, indeed.
What we think
If you’re coming to Florida to live large—and who doesn’t?—JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort is the place to do it. Guest rooms have the expansive, luxurious feel of a Kardashian Instagram post, thanks to floor to ceiling views over the turquoise Gulf, included balconies and a breezy, beachy color palette of sandy neutrals and cloud whites. Even the starter rooms are large at 402 square feet; upgrade to a Terrace Suite for 800-square-feet to roam, plus a separate dining room and marble-lined bathroom complete with a jetted tub. Don’t miss stopping by the thatched roof Kane Tiki Bar & Grill, right on the sand, for Indonesian street foods and the best rum cocktails you’ll ever have, whirred and served in hurricane glasses.
You're here because
The place has thousands of five star reviews online, and no wonder: they pamper guests right with amenities that include everything from an on-site salon to valet dry cleaning.
The Moment
You spent all day yesterday on the resort’s Peter Jacobsen-designed 18-hole Hammock Bay golf course, and today, you’re playing to really win: spending the day at the spa. The only things on your to-do list? An ultrasonic facial Judy Jetson would love.
