Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center

Tower of Luxury

What it is

A sleek 60 story high-rise with an infinity pool and spa on the 57th floor; restaurant and bar by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten; and so much more.

What it isn't

Architecturally blah. This particular skyscraper was designed by Lord Norman Foster—the mastermind starchitect behind everything from London’s famous “Gherkin” to Apple’s Cupertino HQ.

What we think

The Founding Fathers who met here centuries ago to strategize American Independence would be downright delighted by the intergalactic levels of luxury achieved at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center. We the people love that even the “starter” room category here—Premier Cityscape Rooms—are jaw-dropping, from the floor to ceiling windows that peer out on the cityscape and Delaware River to the spacious floor plans (starting at 352 square feet). Plus, each guest room has decidedly opulent perks including locally sourced birchwood surfaces; Nespresso machines and Bodum tea kettles with Rishi tea; controls at your bedside for drawing the window treatments; a loaner iPad for room control; and so much more. One of our favorite rooms here is the Landmark Corner Suite, which has an entirely separate living space within its 665 square foot floor plan. Don’t miss at least one treatment in the crystal-lined spa; you can add tech-forward options to your facial, like microdermabrasion or LED light therapy.

You're here because

Four Seasons treats kiddos like V.I.P.’s, with a gratis stuffed animal upon arrival, itsy bitsy robes, child-friendly menu options, and other surprises—like in-room cookie decorating kits.

The Moment

You know you were in for a treat at Jean-Georges Philadelphia when you wandered past an actual waterfall (on the 59th floor, no less) to get to your table. But you never imagined dishes as life changing as this, including spring pea dumplings and coconut semifreddo with pineapple sorbet and lime curd.
