Gold Coast, Australia
The Langham Gold Coast & Jewel Residences
Luxury on High
What it is
A new geometric tower on the beach with 169 serene rooms, 6 artful bars and restaurants (including a pool bar), and spa inspired by Eastern medicine.
What it isn't
Just a hotel. 170 showstopping residences mean you can stay forever.
What we think
They don’t call it the Gold Coast for nothing. But this new high-rise is so luxe it may well be deemed platinum. Even the most “basic” guest room option here is anything but: set on floors three through nine, Superior Rooms are equipped with floor to ceiling glass walls, balconies, marble lined bathrooms and perks like Nespresso machines, motorized blackout shades, oval shaped tubs, smart room lighting and plentiful other luxuries within their 365 square foot floor plans. We love the Executive Ocean Suites for their high level panoramas over the sea and 979 foot floor plans (including a separate living room). The nearly 4,000-square-foot Chairman’s Ocean Suite is nothing less than exquisite, with its circular bathtub that almost feels like a yacht bobbing at the sea, given its lofty perch over the ocean. Whichever room you pick, expect trademark Langham delights—including their signature Diptyque toiletries, rain showers, and Langham Blissful Beds that have more than earned their moniker. Don’t miss the Taittinger Champagne Brunch at Akoya for a very effervescent time.
You're here because
You’re a sucker for Langam’s impeccable service, from daily housekeeping to free reign over the health club and wellness center.
The Moment
Cantonese dishes don’t get any more addictive than what’s on your plate at T’Ang Court, where a Michelin star is only a matter of time (its sister restaurant in Hong Kong has three). Your current obsession? Dry aged duck soup with tangerine peel.
