The Langham, Sydney
Timeless elegance in the Rocks
What it is
A beautifully designed hotel with 98 sumptuous rooms in Sydney’s Rocks neighborhood.
What it isn't
In walking distance of downtown Sydney and the Sydney Opera House, the area is more tourist driven than residential.
What we think
If you landed in one of the Langham’s living or guestrooms without context, you’d assume you were in an interior design shoot for Town & Country or Elle Décor: Thanks to white lacquer furnishings, beautifully upholstered chairs and full glass French doors opening up to Western Harbour or skyline views, rooms feel like they’d fit in a stylish English country residence. Throughout the hotel, the color palate is light and fresh, a nod to Sydney’s oceanfront spirit. Tiffin Afternoon Tea and evening cocktails are served in the Palm Court, where tufted mint chairs sit on marble floors, and a peacock blue bar is wrapped in a gold border. The equally light and airy Kent Street Kitchen serves Sydney Rock oysters by the dozen, as well as salmon and trout fished off the coasts of New Zealand and Tasmania.
You're here because
You want an elegant home-away-from-home atmosphere close to Sydney’s waterfront and a handful of the city’s major sites.
The Moment
