Megève, France
Lodge Park
Woodsy and Wonderful
What it is
A storybook lodge with 49 cozy rooms, an iconic brunch, and dazzling high-tech spa with light therapy and a hammam.
What it isn't
Hangry. The hotel’s The Beef Lodge is a beloved local steakhouse for dishes like roasted bone marrow and 72 hour brisket.
What we think
This place could have a star turn in Ralph Lauren’s fever dreams, thanks to its log walls, plaid wallpapers, and supple leather at every turn. Even the starter Lodge Rooms (269 square feet) are as welcoming as a suite at Balmoral, thanks to their tartan walls, faux fur blankets and ostrich leather inspired headboards. We love the granite stone fireplaces in the Lodge Fireplace Rooms, as well as the 419 square foot Junior Suites—where you’ll have a separate living room (with a fireplace) and deep soaking tub ideal for steeping in after a day on the slopes.
You're here because
The après ski scene here is iconic, and not for tabletop dancing in ski boots, but for relaxing in the Tea Room with mulled wine, gingerbread cookies and a book. Heaven.
The Moment
After a ski day, you’re wiped…and the hot stone therapy massage and detoxifying facial in the spa are just what the doctor ordered. The hammam and hot tub are just a bonus.
