Cap d'Antibes Beach Hotel
What it is
A 35-room retreat on a private beach with an infinity pool, a Michelin-starred restaurant, a manicured garden, and a clubby beachfront bar and restaurant that parties 24/7.
What it isn't
Lacking a spa. You can treat yourself to a rose quartz facial or blissful massage in their garden massage cabins.
What we think
Brigitte Bardot was here. And of course she was. This hotel was the place to see and be seen in the 1950s and 60s, and that aura of palpable style is still omnipresent here. Even the most basic room, the Deluxe, is anything but “basic,” with its streamlined neutral-on-neutral interior fitted with blocky custom furniture; private terrace; and bathroom that feels like a hammam thanks to stained glass windows and pink marble finishes. Amenities are luxe, too, including Acqua di Parma toiletries; Nespresso machines; and daily turndown service. Want to feel like Bardot herself? Book the Le Cap Suite; it has a large private terrace where daybeds overlook the Lérins Islands, plus an indoor jacuzzi and rainfall shower. Heavenly.
You're here because
You’re on a bit of a health-is-wealth kick, and the hotel offers yoga in the garden and on the rooftop terrace—plus private classes. Namaste.
After a couple of hours lounging on the pink daybeds in the sand, you’re growing tired of the sun. Time for lunch. Today’s delight at the Michelin-starred Les Pêcheurs? Braised Mediterranean oysters with Colonnata bacon and Jerusalem artichokes.
