What We Think

For anyone looking for a bucket list moment, this is the spot. Many of the 45 guest rooms are centered around the “pinch-me” views of the Mediterranean Sea rolling endlessly to the horizon, and yet so comfortable they’d be lovely even without the scenery. Classic Rooms are set within an ancient medieval village and fittingly intimate at 269 square feet; we recommend booking a 462-square-foot Deluxe Room with a Sea View and balcony, especially if you’re not here often, to soak up the scene. The Prestige Suites, though, are our favorites, with their eye-popping panoramas over Cap Ferrat and generous 538 square foot floor plans.

Sleek and modern. The design here manages to be both glamorous and charming, much like French Riviera obsessive Grace Kelly.

The Moment

It’s perhaps no wonder that the hotel’s namesake restaurant has not one but two Michelin stars—Chef Arnaud Faye honed his knives at The Ritz. Everything is unexpected: the Tamaris oyster in iodinated jelly with lemon emulsion; the octopus scented with Grasse rose; the locally plucked strawberries flavored with elderflower and meringue. Heaven really is a place on earth.
