Frank Sinatra. Elizabeth Taylor. Sophia Loren. All legends who stayed at this legendary circa 1800 hotel. Ascendant starlets and glitterati of today still find the centuries old property as alluring as ever, thanks to sumptuous guest rooms where every luxury has been attended to. What the 236 square foot Classic Rooms lack in square footage they make up for handsomely with amenities, including zippy free Wifi, a coffee and tea station, a curated minibar, and glamorous traditional interiors, including elegant draperies, ornate wood crown moldings and antique-inspired furnishings. We especially love the splurge-worthy, 1,044-square-foot Dali Suite, which has a panorama over the buzzing sidewalks of Paseo de la Castellana; a fully separate living room; a second bathroom; kitchenette; and even a deep soaking tub with hydromassage jets…glamour, at every turn.
