Hotel Manapany & Spa
What it is
A 43-room environmentally friendly paradise with two pristine pools edging Anse des Cayes Bay.
What it isn't
Doing damage to this tropical utopia. Everything from the cars (electric) to the spa treatments (100% natural) is as pure as St. Barths’s emerald hills.
What we think
Every guest here is treated to a pilates and yoga class during their stay, which tells you where this intimate resort’s priorities are. Health is unequivocally wealth, and Hotel Manapany knows it. Each of the 43 rooms was built responsibly; yours will inevitably be shrouded by lush gardens and stocked with a private sundeck, plus a curated mini bar, welcome tray with coffee and tea, gratis WiFi, and a canopied king bed cloaked in romantic mosquito netting. We particularly love that the interior decor is a hip, modernist take on “beachy”; in the Ocean Deluxe rooms, you’ll find jute rope decorated mirrors and bedside sconces, white shiplap walls and lofted cobalt ceilings, plus a sundeck with a prime perch over the turquoise Caribbean sea. Easy, breezy, and absolutely beautiful.
You're here because
The hotel includes American breakfasts (and bountiful croissants) in the rate, and you have to start your day properly, or you’ll be hangry by lunch.
Sitting with your toes in the sand at the hotel’s al fresco restaurant, overlooking the clearest turquoise sea you’ve ever seen, you’re feeling like the luckiest person on earth. And then your waiter sets a just-caught grilled lobster before you, and it’s official. You *are* the luckiest person on earth.
